  • Clean Availability: Each staff member has availability periods with effective dates
  • No Conflicts: Time restrictions are pre-applied to availability slots
  • School Schedules: Automatic switching between summer and school availability

Quick Start Guide

  1. Load example data to see the new availability system in action
  2. Select a department (FOH, BOH, or Helper) to view
  3. Choose a week to generate schedules for
  4. Click "Generate Schedule" in the schedule view to auto-create schedules
  5. Switch between Grid, List, and Staff views to see different perspectives
  6. Notice how availability reasons are color-coded (default, school, etc.)
